Research
Central objective of our group is the teaching and research in the area of biochemical engineering. In research the emphasis is put on bioprocess engineering. The design and optimization of the production processes for recombinant proteins, which are predominant used for therapy or diagnostic applications are in our focus.
- Development of improved process control strategies for industrial production processes
- Development of new methods for online characterization of fermentation processes for application in process control
- Investigation of transfer processes in bioreactors in pilot and production scale.
